DESCRIPTION:

Napa Valley is a magical place with wineries everywhere.  This trip offers a chance to indulge in landscape and culture of this beautiful valley.  Take an old fashioned train ride to tour various vineyards.  Enjoy a trip to the world's most predictable geyser that isn't in Yellowstone.  Spend mornings walking amongst the vines of Meritage Winery.  And spend time in downtown Napa strolling along the river and eating dinner paired with one of the region's cabernets or chardonnays.

DON'T FOEGET:

Drink responsibly!  Have a glass of water between each individual wine serving (tasting or glass!)  Pace yourself to enjoy each day fully.  Food and Wine and a bit of excercise makes for the best trips to Wine Country.

 

OUR TIPS:

The best time to make this trip is in the spring.  Summers can be very hot during mid-day.  Fall is when harvest time happens and is the best time to check out new vintages.  This is also a great side excursion tacked on to a winter trip to Lake Tahoe!
